Most recently,  KASAGIP was given by the Upper Hutt Multi-Ethnic Council with a "Community Service Award" for its support to migrants. 

The awarding ceremony coincided with the dinner and annual recognition ceremonies of the New Zealand Federation of Multi-Ethnic Council on June 23, 2012. 

Her Excellency, our Philippine Ambassador Benavidez was at the event to witness this award being handed over to KASAGIP represented by Mar Esparas (Deputy Chair of the Board, and Mimi Laurilla, Executive Director).
